How long the pass lasts
Until you pass — 12 months, extended free if you report a failed real exam.
Twelve months from the day you buy it. If you sit the real exam in that time and do not pass, tell us in the app and the pass is extended — free — to at least six months after your report, and never earlier than it already ran. If you pass, tell us that too: the pass has done its job.
Access starts when you pay
One payment, VAT included. Access starts as soon as you pay, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends at payment.
At checkout you ask for access to begin straight away, and you confirm that you understand the right of withdrawal ends when access begins. Access begins the moment your payment goes through, so the right ends then and there is no refund after you pay. We send a confirmation email that records what you agreed to. Your other rights as a consumer, for example if the pass does not work as described, are not affected. The exact words on the checkout are:

What the alternatives cost
The exam fee is about €19 per attempt in Flanders and Brussels and €17 in Wallonia. Sitting it in English adds an audio translation or an interpreter: €62 in total in Flanders, €69 in Brussels and €76 in Wallonia, paid again for every attempt. After two attempts without a pass, a 12-hour theory course at a driving school becomes mandatory before you may sit it again. A single pass at €25 that gets you through first time is the cheapest route by a distance.
