Heavy fault · 5 points
You realise too late that you have passed your exit. What does the code allow?
The answer
B — Carrying on as far as the next exit
Why
Art. 21.4 forbids using the crossovers, turning round, and reversing or driving against the direction of travel, so the only lawful answer to a missed exit is the next exit.
Why not
- A Reversing on a motorway is forbidden and graded at the fourth degree.
- C Standing still on a motorway is forbidden outside an E9a parking strip.
- D Using the crossovers is forbidden and graded at the fourth degree.

How this topic works in RoadReady
Every lesson in this topic is a short read built around the pictures the real questions use, and every practice question ends the same way as the one above: why the right answer is right, and why each other option is wrong. A mock exam draws on all of it, scored exactly like the real thing — 50 questions, 15 seconds each, five points for a heavy fault — and your readiness figure tells you honestly when this topic is done.
